Fundamentals
To ensure widespread adoption of Functional & Integrative Medicine combining Nutritional Therapy & Lifestyle improvements to combat Obesity, Type-2 Diabetes, Aging (ODA) & other health related diseases.
MISSION
To spread awareness and offer solutions for Obesity, Type-2 Diabetes, Aging (ODA) & other health related issues.
OBJECTIVES
- To treat Obesity using Intermittent Fasting, Whole-Foods & Lifestyle Improvements
- To reverse Type-2 Diabetes (T2D) through Therapeutic Nutritional Therapy & Lifestyle Improvements based on clinically proven methods.
- To slow down & Reverse Aging through diet & lifestyle change based on the Blue Zones' proven method and the 2009 Nobel Prize winning theory in Medicine, "Telomeres".
FUNDAMENTALS
Autophagy (2016 Nobel Prize Winner in Medicine)
A process by which a cell breaks down and destroys old, damaged, or abnormal proteins and other substances in its cytoplasm. The breakdown products are then recycled for important cell functions, especially during periods of stress or starvation. Autophagy also helps destroy bacteria and viruses that cause infection and may prevent normal cells from becoming cancer cells. Autophagy also affect the body’s immune response against viruses, bacteria, and cancer cells.
Telomeres (2009 Nobel Prize Winner in Medicine)
A telomere is a region of repetitive DNA sequences at the end of a chromosome. Telomeres protect the ends of chromosomes from becoming frayed or tangled. Telomeres play a central role in cell fate and aging by adjusting the cellular response to stress and growth stimulation on the basis of previous cell divisions and DNA damage. At least a few hundred nucleotides of telomere repeats must "cap" each chromosome end to avoid activation of DNA repair pathways.
Circadian Rhythm (2017 Nobel Prize Winner in Medicine)
Circadian rhythms are 24-hour cycles that are part of the body’s internal clock, running in the background to carry out essential functions and processes. One of the most important and well-known circadian rhythms is the sleep-wake cycle. When properly aligned, a circadian rhythm can promote consistent and restorative sleep. But when this circadian rhythm is thrown off, it can create significant sleeping problems, including insomnia. Research is also revealing that circadian rhythms play an integral role in diverse aspects of physical and mental health.

Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku)
This Japanese practice is a process of relaxation; known in Japan as Shinrin-Yoku. The simple method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees, observing nature around you whilst breathing deeply can help both adults and children de-stress and boost health and wellbeing in a natural way.
Forest bathing is not just for the wilderness-lover; the practice can be as simple as walking in any natural environment and consciously connecting with what’s around you. For more info click here.
The BlueZones Lifestyle
A few places in the world are called “Blue Zones.” The term refers to geographic areas in which people have low rates of chronic disease and live longer than anywhere else. This article describes the common lifestyle features of people in Blue Zones, including why they live longer.People in Blue Zones eat more plant-based foods, fewer processed foods, they spend less time on devices, they move as part of their daily repertoire, and they value family, faith, and community.
